Welcome - Why we started the organisation
Kingshold.com is a social regeneration organisation that aims are to work with those NEET (not in Education Employment or Training) individuals that are excluded within their community by means of lack of education, employment, training and psycho-social development.
Kingshold.com’s work started through the lack of facilities that was available to local youths, this initially caused a rift between young people and the older residents within the South Hackney Ward estates. It was apparent that some sporting occupation was necessary in addition to alternative work in supporting the over representation of NEET young people around those areas. The acknowledgment that there was building regeneration being undertaken in various places but the social problems was still apparent. With the necessary skills it was appropriate to offer support for individuals requiring psychosocial aid through empathetic mentoring and/or life coaching.
